FullTilt.com is For Sale

If
you are an online casino poker fan, then it is highly
unlikely that you have not heard of Full Tilt Poker. The
insanely popular poker-centric internet casino is one of
(if not the top) most visited poker sites on the World
Wide Web. Among the highly competitive world of
poker-based online casinos, Full Tilt routinely takes
top marks, for its outstanding graphics and sound
quality; for its wide variety of poker titles; and for
its industry-leading customer service. With such a
prominent name in the online gambling world, it’s simply
no surprise that the site (located at www.fulltiltpoker.com) gets incredible traffic.
At least one group of people can’t stand the traffic
that the Full Tilt online casino generates, though – and
surprisingly, it isn’t one of the online gambling hub’s
many competitors. Full Tilt Solutions, a “product
information management company” based in New Jersey
which owns and does business from the web address
http://www.fulltilt.com, is just about fed up with
misplaced hits from gambling aficionados looking for the
poker site that shares its name. At first, company reps
said, the amazing amount of traffic coming from fans of
online casinos was “fun.” Now, however, the site is
receiving more than sixty thousand visits, or “hits,” a
month from confused internet casino players – and
they’re eating into the much more modest site’s
bandwidth to such an extent that it has been affecting
business.
Rather than continue to resent the Full Tilt online
casino and the online gambling fans who can’t seem to
get the correct web address, Full Tilt (the management
company) is putting the domain up for sale. FullTilt.com
is understood to be a “high profile” domain name, and
the company has enlisted the MH Kogan firm to take over
its auction.
